Reading gives humans humanity. Nakaka-awa ang mga taong hindi man lang makapagbuklat ng libro. Oo, marami sigurong mababasa sa internet, gamit ang computer pero iba pa rin talaga ang pakiramdam ng paglilipat ng bawat pahina sa libro.

Hindi ngayon ang oras para talikuran at ikahiya ang pagiging Pilipino. Sa ganitong mga panahon tayo kailangan ng ating bayan higit kailan pa man.
Hindi maiiwasan na ikahiya tayo ng ibang bansa sa pangyayaring ito. Pero tayo, bilang Pilipino, ipagtanggol natin ang bayan, tumayo tayo sa likod nito, akayin ito hanggang sa makapag-lakad muli, at tumibay ang mga paa upang makalakad mag-isa.
Isa lamang itong pagsubok sa ating bayan, kung magkakawatak-watak ba tayo o tatayong muli. Pilipino tayo, tatayo tayo.
